Reproduction Car Parts for Your Classic Fury

The Fury is a model of automobile that was manufactured by Plymouth from 1955 to 1989. It was originally introduced in 1956 as trim level of the Plymouth Belvedere. It became a separate series above the contemporary Belvedere in 1959. The Fury was designed as a full-size car from 1959 to 1961, and transitioned to a mid-size car from 1962 to 1964. The Fury went back to being a full-size car from 1965 to 1974, and was released again as a mid-size car from 1975 to 1978. From 75 to 77 the Plymouth Fury was available along the Plymouth Gran Fury which was a full-size car. In 1978, the B-body Fury was the largest Plymouth in production. By 1979, Plymouth was no longer in the full-size car market. Since Plymouth was unable to make up their mind between full-sized and mid-sized cars, they introduced the full-sized 1980 R-body Gran Fury, which was proceeded by the M-body Fury in 1982. On December 23, 1988, production of the V8, RWD Plymouth Fury ended at Kenosha, WI,. Unlike its sister brand, Dodge, the Plymouth would not live to see the rebirth of the large, V8 rear-wheel drive sedan. In 2001, the last Plymouth rolled off the Belvedere assembly line.
