Fairlane Restoration Parts
Reproduction Car Parts for Your Classic Fairlane
The Ford Fairlane is a classic American-made automobile that was sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford Motor Company in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Ford Fairlane gets its unique name from Henry Ford's estate, Fair Lane, which is near Dearborn, Michigan.
From 1955 through 1970 Ford had gone through 7 generations of the Falcon and the name referred to several different cars in different classes. The Fairlane was a full-sized car in the beginning but was downsized in 1962. This medium-sized car inspired the Australian-built Fairlane in 1967. In the Australian market, however, it was considered a large car.
Even though the Fairlane halted production in the US in 1970, it was produced until 1981 in Argentina. Venezuela also produced vehicles until 1979 that bore the Fairlane name but they were based on the US-made Torinos and LTDs.
