The Montclair was a full-size automobile brand which was produced by Mercury, a division of the Ford Motor Company, from 1955 to 1957. Versions of the Montclair were produced by Lincoln, Edsel and Mercury, which were all divisions of Ford Motor Company, from 1958 and 1960 and by the Lincoln-Mercury division of the Ford Motor Company in 1964 through 1968. Its design and look were largely inspired by a concept show car in 1954 called the Mercury XM-800.
