Collectors Auto Supply has been in business for over 30 years. We supply restoration parts for classic vehicles to customers all over the world. We are passionate about taking great care of our customers and getting them the parts they need to restore their classic vehicle.

We are a small fish in a big pond of aftermarket automotive parts, and it’s time we made a bigger splash. We have the foundations in place to handle significantly more business. Now we are looking for someone who can help us achieve our lofty aspirations.

Digital Marketing Manager

We’re looking for someone who eats, lives and breathes all aspects of digital marketing; someone who can see and understand the macro aspects and also loves diving into the micro aspects of marketing, too. The right person for this role will love building a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and getting their hands dirty doing the work too.

The most exciting part? You will be a one-person marketing department with the freedom and ability to shape and grow your role. Your input, creative ideas, and execution will be critical elements of the success you achieve in this role. You will work closely with the Owner of Collectors Auto Supply to align on strategy and will be responsible for executing all initiatives, from high level strategy through to implementation.

This is a hands-on role where you will be creating strategy, writing copy, extracting insights from Google Analytics, developing creative ideas for social media posts, driving SEO updates, developing email campaign ideas and so on. You will be a one-person marketing tour de force in the world of classic car restoration.

You will also have the opportunity to leverage contractors and manage them when there is a clear case and requirement for doing so.

Core Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager’s main responsibility is to drive increased brand awareness, website traffic, e-commerce sales, and significant revenue and profit growth directly through our marketing efforts.

Role Responsibilities

You will be responsible for and lead the strategy development and execution for all marketing activities at our company, which includes the following areas:

Social Media

  • Developing a content strategy & calendar
  • Creating the content – written, photos, & video
  • Publishing the content
  • Responding to social commentary
  • Public Relations (Proactive earned outreach and media buys)

Affiliate strategy and sales

  • Developing relationships with influencers
  • Bringing them on board to partner with us

Digital Ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc)

  • Oversee the ads contractor and ensure we are getting good value for the money spent
  • Develop new ad campaign ideas
  • Measure and monitor progress

SEO

  • Address off-page and on-page issues
  • Develop a blog content strategy based on keyword research, our parts and what our customers are interested in
  • Hire and manage blog content writers
  • Write blogs
  • Using tools like SEMRush to address any SEO related issues on our site
  • Use AI tools and contractors to rewrite product descriptions where necessary
  • Optimize blogs and other content on the site using Page Optimizer Pro

Email and Newsletter Delivery

  • Develop email campaign ideas
  • Work with email contractor to develop and deliver new engaging content on a regular schedule
  • Analyze email metrics and find ways to make incremental improves to the engagement and conversions of our emails

Photo and Video Creation

  • Develop photo and video content for social media posts, product listings and email newsletters
  • Curate user generated content from our customers and develop a plan to implement this content into our marketing strategy

What you bring to the table

Experience

  • You’ve spent many mental cycles on classic cars… restoring, admiring, showing, selling them, purchasing, and dreaming about the next one. You love classic vehicles and really get who our customers are because you are one of them
  • Demonstrated success in driving significant brand growth through online marketing channels
  • You have experience and expertise in driving significant top and bottom-line results through digital marketing

Required Skills

  • Current and deep knowledge of best practices, strategies, and latest developments in SEO
  • You are skilled at using Google Analytics (and other tools) to measure campaign success and diagnose issues
  • You've used tools like SEM Rush of Page Optimizer Pro to address SEO issues and optimize content
  • You are skilled at idea generation and love coming up with new concepts and creative ways to market our company
  • Accreditations: Google AdWords Basic, AdWords Advanced, Analytics, Display, Facebook, and Bing Certified

What We Offer

  • Hours: 9-5pm Monday to Friday is our norm and there is flexibility when required
