The Winners Circle!

We’re pleased to announce our first winner of the Collector’s Auto Supply Contest!
Mel is our first winner!
His 1947 Dodge Coupe is going to be a custom restoration with a custom rear wing, fender flares, and a custom paint job.
He discovered his 47 Dodge Coupe sitting in the bushes with two other cars. After purchasing the car for $700, he spent a day and a half shovelling years of pine cones and other items out of the car, only to discover that there was no floor. Thankfully, the necessary paperwork was tucked away safely in the glove box, where Mel discovered that the last time his car was registered was in 1979.
As Mel stripped the car down to the metal, he discovered that a previous owner installed a Dodge racing axle, so the car had seen some excitement in its prime.
Mel intends to take his 47 Coupe to the next level, dropping in a Dodge 360 engine mated to a 671 supercharger with dual four-barrel carbs and nitrous.
In Mel’s words “it should be a really good car to drive to church on Sunday”.
Congratulations Mel!
Don’t miss your chance to be our next winner! Entering is easy; simply tell us a short story about your restoration (how you got the car, what you’re doing to it), and what you would do with the prize money! Mel had his nephew record the video for him as he told us his story about his 1947 Dodge Coupe. Be sure to enter the contest by the deadline for your chance to win $1,000 toward your restoration!
